One of the things I enjoy most about voicing audiobooks is that you get to read the books first! In fact, in order to bring a good performance to the book, it's essential to read it first, so that you understand the book as a whole. Whether it's a self-help book, a biography, or a cozy mystery, properly prepping the book before recording is one of the major steps. Then, when I'm actually

recording the book, all that prep work shines, & I'm allowed to bring the book to life in an emotionally intelligent way. Whether it's by creating characters that are fully-fleshed-out, or bringing depth, & sincerity to a sensitive topic.

I truly enjoy narrating audiobooks, so that I can help bring stories to life for folks in compelling ways.
